Darkside started in 2012 as a Russian tobacco brand out of Nizhny Novgorod, launching its first signature line in 2015. The dark, unwashed Burley-and-Virginia leaf blend built a loyal following fast, and within a few years Darkside opened a second factory outside Moscow and grew from a tobacco-only brand into a full hookah ecosystem — hookahs, coal, accessories, and the clay bowls we're covering here. We now carry all three Darkside bowl shapes in stock: Classic, Killer, and Phunnel. Each one is built for a different kind of session.
Darkside Classic — the all-purpose bowl

The Darkside Classic is the brand's universal, no-fuss option — a traditional Turkish silhouette made from a clay-based mixture with a glossy interior glaze. That glaze spreads heat evenly across the bowl, so it heats up quickly and holds a stable temperature for the whole session instead of spiking and fading. It works with foil or a heat management device, and a standard pack of loose, fluffy tobacco — around 18-20g of something like Darkside Core — runs a comfortable 50-60 minutes. If you just want one bowl that handles most tobacco without any special technique, this is it.
Darkside Killer — built for strength

The Darkside Killer shares the same clay construction but a different internal shape that runs hotter than the Classic. That extra heat pulls more flavor and nicotine out of the tobacco faster — good news if you want a bold, punchy session and don't mind trading a bit of longevity for intensity. It takes roughly the same 18-20g pack as the Classic, but expect the flavor to hit harder and the bowl to burn through tobacco a little quicker. Works with foil or an HMD.
Darkside Phunnel — made for dark, moist tobacco

The Darkside Phunnel uses the funnel-style design with a raised center channel instead of a hole straight through the base — the shape that keeps heavy, juice-packed molasses from draining out and drowning the session. At 78mm tall and 77mm across with a 12mm tobacco chamber, it's built specifically for dark, moist blends like Darkside's own tobacco, where a Classic or Killer bowl would let too much juice leak through. Pack it tight with about 18g, and it'll outlast a Classic bowl loaded with the same wet tobacco. Also works with foil or an HMD.
Which Darkside bowl should you pick?
Not sure which one to grab? Classic if you want one bowl that just works with whatever you're smoking. Killer if you want it stronger and don't mind a shorter session. Phunnel if you're loading dark, wet tobacco and don't want to lose any of it to drainage.
