Coal burner FAQ
Do I need a coal burner for natural coconut coals?
Yes. Natural coconut coals won't light with a lighter. They need steady heat from an electric burner, a gas stove with a coal screen or a torch.
Electric coal burner or gas stove?
An electric burner works anywhere there's an outlet, with no open flame and no gas, so it is the easy choice for home and patio sessions. A gas stove lights coals in about the same time but ties you to the kitchen.
Which coals work on a coal burner?
Any natural coconut coal, cubes or flats: Titanium, King of Fire, Tangiers, LeOrange and more.
Is it safe to use?
Use the burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a ventilated room, keep it away from anything flammable, and let the coil cool before you put it away.
