Coal Amy Deluxe

Amy Deluxe charcoal is a natural coconut-shell hookah coal pressed into 26mm cubes. There is no chemical accelerant, so it has no smell or taste of its own while it lights, burns evenly and leaves very little ash. A 1 kg box holds about 64 cubes.

Why 26mm: it is the format lounges switched to. Every coal shrinks a little as it lights, and a 26mm Amy cube still fills the slots of a Kaloud Lotus or a similar heat management device once it is fully lit. Two to three cubes heat a standard bowl in an HMD; on foil, start with three.

How to light: about 4-5 minutes per side on a coal burner, until every side glows red under a thin layer of gray ash with no black spots. Then move the coals to the bowl or a heat management device.
