Regal King Hookah
The Regal King hookah is our largest hookah: the biggest of the chess-piece silhouettes we have hand-finished in San Diego since 2009, and one of our three original models alongside the Queen and Prince. It is built for long group sessions and dense, cool smoke. Every King hookah stem is turned from hard maple, sealed against water and cracking, and paired with anodized aluminum parts, so it is made to be smoked every day, not just displayed.
- Classic King: hard maple dyed in house in redwood, blackwood, brown or darkwood, or natural clear maple, in a satin or gloss finish, like the King Redwood Gloss.
- DW layered wood: layers of dyed maple that show rings through both bulbs, like the King DW Charcoal.
- Epoxy and marble: resin swirled across all three sections of the King, like the King Epoxy Green/White.
- Exotic wood one-offs: single custom builds in Macassar ebony, bocote, blood wood, spalted and ambrosia maple or black palm. When one sells, the next one will look different.

King hookah FAQ
What is the Regal King hookah?
The King is the largest model in the Regal Hookah lineup: a handmade wooden hookah from San Diego, named after the king on the chess board.
King or Queen?
The King is bigger and made for groups and long sessions. The Queen is compact enough for one smoker or a small group. If you are not sure, start with the Queen.
Why do King hookahs cost different amounts?
Classic King hookahs in dyed or natural maple are the entry point. DW, epoxy and exotic-wood Kings cost more because each one is a single hand-finished piece.
Where is the King hookah made?
Every King is hand-finished in San Diego, California, where Regal Hookah has built hookahs since 2009.
