Tangiers has well over a hundred flavors, and picking a tin you’ve never tried is a gamble. As an official Tangiers distributor, we see what customers come back for. This top 10 is based on what actually sells and gets reordered in our store, not on a random wishlist. Every flavor below is in stock in 250g tins.
All ten are from the Noir line, the original Tangiers dark leaf. If you are new to Tangiers, read how to smoke Tangiers at the end first: Noir needs more heat and a tighter pack than regular shisha.

1. Cane Mint #96
Profile: Cool menthol-forward mint with natural sweetness. Line: Noir.
The flavor most people mean when they say “Tangiers.” Cane Mint #96 is the current Noir version: more menthol-forward and cooler than the original Cane Mint Alpha #96a, which is sweeter and almost gum-like. Want it even colder? Extreme Cane Mint #96x adds extra menthol and is best used as a mixer. Cane Mint is strong enough to smoke solo and goes with almost anything.

2. Foreplay On The Peach #103
Profile: Juicy peach with a sour edge and a wash of melon. Line: Noir.
Foreplay On The Peach doesn’t play it straight: sweet peach gets a shot of sour mix and melon underneath, so the flavor keeps shifting through the session instead of sitting flat. For a cold version, mix it 80/20 with Extreme Experimint #113x.
3. Kashmir Peach #38
Profile: Peach over Tangiers’ warm floral Kashmir spice. Line: Noir.
The “Kashmir” flavors are a Tangiers signature: a warm, floral spice base under the fruit. Kashmir Peach is the most popular of them, with more warmth and depth than a plain peach. If you like it, try Kashmir Mango #138 next.
4. Eric’s Mango #7
Profile: Ripe, smooth mango that isn’t overly sweet. Line: Noir.
Eric’s Mango tastes like real ripe mango rather than mango candy: smooth, juicy and rich. Mix it 60/40 with Lemon-Lime #74 for a citrus twist.
5. Pinepas #104
Profile: Pineapple and passionfruit, tart and tropical. Line: Noir.
Pinepas combines pineapple and passionfruit. On Noir the passionfruit tartness comes through sharp and needs a properly hot bowl. Prefer it softer and sweeter? The same flavor exists on the milder Birquq leaf as Birquq M104 Pinepas.
6. Sour Watermelon #31
Profile: Watermelon sweetness with a sour, crisp finish. Line: Noir.
Sour Watermelon keeps the classic watermelon sweetness but adds a sour edge that regular Watermelon #19 doesn’t have. A great warm-weather bowl.
7. Kashmir Mango #138
Profile: Ripe mango on the warm Kashmir spice base. Line: Noir.
Kashmir Mango puts ripe mango over the same Kashmir spice as Kashmir Peach, so there’s a warm, aromatic note under the fruit. A good pick if Eric’s Mango feels too simple.
8. Blueberry Grapefruit #155
Profile: Tart grapefruit up front, sweet blueberry underneath. Line: Noir.
Blueberry Grapefruit leads with a sharp citrus punch and lets blueberry round out the finish. More tart than sweet, which sets it apart from most berry blends. Try it 60/40 with Jai Alai Peach #160.
9. Melon Blend #9
Profile: Light, clean mixed melon. Line: Noir.
Melon Blend is a light, easy mixed-melon flavor with a clean finish. Nothing heavy, which makes it one of the best all-day bowls and a perfect base for mixes.
10. Experimint #113
Profile: Clean, cool spearmint with nothing on top. Line: Noir.
Experimint is pure spearmint: no fruit, no menthol tricks. It’s as much a mixing tool as a flavor, cutting through sweet and heavy blends. Want more? Extreme Experimint #113x is the turned-up version.
Honorable mentions
- Orange Soda #10: sweet orange-candy soda, an easy crowd-pleaser.
- Mimon #92: mint and lemon together, crisp and refreshing.
- Pineapple #6: straightforward, juicy pineapple.
- Kashmir Cloud #161: soft, mellow fruit over the Kashmir spice base.
Noir, Birquq, Burley or F-Line?
Most classic Tangiers flavors come in more than one line, and the line changes the experience as much as the flavor does:
- Birquq: the mildest and most forgiving line, with fluffier smoke and a bit more sweetness. The best starting point if you’re coming from regular shisha.
- Noir: the original dark leaf, with intense flavor and a strong buzz. Stronger than Birquq, milder than Burley.
- Burley: a different, Burley-leaf base with the highest nicotine Tangiers makes. Only for experienced smokers.
- F-Line: Noir’s flavor with added caffeine, released in limited batches.

How to smoke Tangiers so it tastes right
- Use a phunnel bowl. Tangiers is juicy, and a phunnel keeps the juice in the bowl instead of in your stem.
- Pack it fuller than regular shisha. Noir wants a denser pack than most fruit tobaccos.
- Give it real heat. Tangiers needs more heat than most shisha. Use natural coconut coals and a heat management device such as the Apple on Top Asher coal tray, so you can control the heat without foil.
- Let it acclimate. Noir tastes harsh if you smoke it too early or too cold. Give the bowl time to heat through before judging the flavor.
