The Kaloud Lotus I+ is the HMD that started the heat management trend: instead of laying coals on foil, you put them inside the Lotus, set it on top of the bowl and let the aluminum body spread the heat evenly over the tobacco. The coals never touch the shisha, so you get smoother, cleaner-tasting clouds, far less ash in the bowl and long sessions without poking holes in foil or constantly moving coals around. This is the Auris, "The Gold Lotus" finish.

How to use the Kaloud Lotus I+

1. Pack a phunnel-style bowl and set the Lotus directly on top. Never preheat the empty Lotus.
2. Light your coals fully on a coal burner until they glow on every side.
3. Lift the lid, drop in two large cubes, close the lid and wait 5-10 minutes for the bowl to heat up.
4. Open the vents for more heat, close them to cool the bowl down. Tap off the ash when it builds up.
