Flavor: Fresh-Cut Lemongrass

Lemongrass leans herbal rather than sweet — fresh-cut lemongrass stalk with a light citrus edge, closer to a tisane than a candy flavor. It works well as a palate-cleanser between heavier dessert or fruit bowls. Mix it with: brighten it with a 60/40 lean toward Lemongrass over Noir C104 Pinepas, or go 50/50 with Noir C117 Dark Cherry for an herbal-cherry combination.

The Noir Line

As Tangiers' flagship dark-leaf tobacco, Noir set the standard the newer lines (Birquq, Burley, F-Line) are all compared against. It's less forgiving than those — a tighter heat window, more acclimation before it breaks in properly — but it rewards the effort with the boldest flavor in the catalog and a strong buzz, second only to Burley.
